And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying,

The Roman Centurion caught the attention of Jesus because he funded the building of a synagogue. He was not a preacher. He was a man who gave, and Jesus noticed his faith. When you give, you are not just donating. You are stepping into the same kind of faith that made Jesus stop and marvel.
